Name the library

What name would you like for our new library and learning centre that is being built at 1 Leake Street ? We want to know before Friday 6 April 2010.

A joint committee of Cottesloe, Peppermint Grove and Mosman Park councils have decided on naming criteria.

The naming criteria are:
  • To highlight the modern and innovative nature of the new library and learning center in connecting and reflecting the aspirations of the three communities;
  • To reflect the green and leafy natural environment of the three council areas with their elements of trees, river and ocean
  • To reinforce the far-sighted green theme and environmentally sustainable design (ESD) vision of the building
  • To invite the community to view the building as a vibrant place to visit in person or online;
  • To appeal to current and future library users and people of all ages
